A couple days ago, I was looking through e-books on the Internet Archive and discovered some on Anglo-Saxon grammar. I'd been looking for a resource on Anglo-Saxon for some time, so I glanced through a couple and chose the one that I thought would be most helpful:
Anglo-Saxon Grammar and Exercise Book by C. Alphonso Smith. The copyright date is 1896, although the preface to the fourth edition is dated 1903.
I began reading it this morning, so in some ways, I started studying foreign language twenty-seven and passed Noah Webster. I hasten to qualify this claim though, because all I've done so far is read the first chapter, which is about the history of Anglo-Saxon.
