Conquered German Skill Tree... Again

I conquered the German skill tree on Duolingo... again.

I completed the skill tree on the web version on 30 September, but there's some discrepancy between the web version and the app, so I had to do two more skills on the app in order to get this graphic.

I've completed the skill tree at least twice before.  Here's a post from August 2020 when I got the level four trophy, and here's a post from December 2021 when - after Duolingo updated the skill tree and took that trophy away - I reached level one again.  Sometime after that, Duolingo must have updated the skill tree yet again and taken away an-other of my trophies.

Conquered Ukrainian Skill Tree

I completed the Ukrainian skill tree on Duolingo!  It took me almost exactly seven months; I started on 22 February.

Conquered Danish Skill Tree

I started learning Danish on Duolingo on 24 September 2015.  Because it was a lower priority language for me, I did lessons only infrequently, but for the last month or so, I've been doing a lesson every day (although I might have missed a day here or there), and I conquered the skill tree to-day!

Dutch Level 4

I reached Dutch level 4 on Duolingo, but then I discovered that, apparently, Duolingo did away with the graphics that show these specific milestones.  Now, all I get is a more generic course completion graphic:

Conquered Portuguese Skill Tree

Conquered French Skill Tree... Yet Again

According to the mobile app, I completed Duolingo's French skill tree yester-day.  I usually do French on the web version, though, where I still had to pass checkpoint 10, which I did this morning.  In any case, I conquered the French skill tree.

This is the third time I've done it now.  (Here's a link to a post about the second time.)  Duolingo keeps updating the skill tree and taking my trophy away.

Conquered Romanian Skill Tree

I conquered the Romanian skill tree on Duolingo!

Navajo Level 4 Trophy

I reached Navajo level 4 on Duolingo to-day:

I think I've said this every time I've levelled up in the Navajo course, but it bears repeating:  I don't know as much about Navajo as this would seem to indicate.  For one thing, the skill tree is pretty short, and most of the time, I'm guessing.

Conquered Greek Skill Tree (Again)

I did an extra Greek lesson to-day and conquered the skill tree on Duolingo again:

I first accomplished this in May 2020, but in February last year, Duolingo updated the skill tree and took away my trophy.

Ukrainian

Partially because the Ukraine has been in the news a lot lately (which I know even though I don't follow the news), I started learning Ukrainian on Duolingo:

I've done only the first lesson so far, but I found it interesting that "mom" and "dad" were among the words I learned.  I don't know if these words were chosen because they have few letters, because they have cognates in many other languages, or because it simulates learning a language naturally ("mom" and "dad" are probably among the first words learned in one's native language).  Maybe some combination of these.
