Hebrew Level 2 Trophy
I reached level two in all of the skills in Duolingo's Hebrew course. Here's my trophy:
It's also been two years (to the day) since I started copying out the verses from the Daily Dose of Hebrew videos.

Conquered Hebrew Skill Tree
I conquered the Hebrew Skill Tree! Also I have a 2,600-day streak.
Here's the level 1 trophy from the mobile version (which I've been avoiding lately because of the insufferable new hearts system):

Hebrew Transcription
Way back in May 2017, in one of the Daily Dose of Greek videos, Dr. Plummer gave some suggestions for a "Summer Greek Challenge." One of them was to copy out the week-daily verses by hand. I've been doing this since 15 May 2017, and I'm pretty sure it has helpt in my comprehension.
So when I heard that the Daily Dose of Hebrew was going to start a new book, I decided to do the same thing with Hebrew that I've been doing with Greek. Here's my laboriously copied Deuteronomy 1:1:

Even just in copying out this one verse from Deuteronomy, I found that I was more engaged with the text. My letters are awkward and stilted, but I'm sure that the longer I continue copying out verses, the better I'll get at it. That was my experience with Greek. Here are the first few verses I copied:
And here are some verses I copied out last month:

Duolingo Levels Update
This morning, after I reached Level 6 Romanian and discovered that Duolingo doesn't notify me when I reach a new level anymore, I compared my current Duolingo levels to the records I have on this blog and discovered that I'd unknowingly leveled up in five different languages.
I'm now on Level 15 Spanish:
Unsurprisingly (because I practice them everyday), I leveled up in all three of the non-Latin alphabet languages I'm learning:

I also got to Level 7 Irish:
Keeping track of when I leveled up in a language is most of the reason I started this blog. Now that Duolingo doesn't notify me, I'll have to keep an eye on my levels myself.

EDIT: I realized after posting this that I'd actually reached level 14 Russian back in January.

Level 10 Hebrew
The mobile version of Duolingo no longer shows the language you level up in, just the number of lingots you get for levelling up. But this was for Hebrew.
